This experience lasts between 5 and 6 hours. A more precise duration is very difficult to give as it depends on many circumstances, specially becuase of lunch. The trip starts at our TopBuggy base with some challenging tracks and of course breathtaking views to roll down to the small villagess. Through tracks paths and narrow roads we first reach and pass through the Blue Village of Júzcar, to continue to Faraján, where we will be received by Juan Carlos and Inmaculada Torres who will host us during the farm visits. The authentic Iberian pig lives on these farms free out in the countryside and is fattened with 100% natural food as Acorn and ofcourse the Chestnuts giving the end product that special uan unique flavour. Juan Carlos teaches and explains us curiosities about the breeding and life of these pigs, and is always open to answer any questions or doubts you may have.
In the same cozy tasting room, we sit down and relax to move on to lunch at the hands of Inmaculada, which includes different types of 100% Iberian grilled meats from their own pigs, ending with a homemade dessert as well as coffee or tea. Drinks like soft drinks, wine, beer and water are all included.
